Years ago it started with one of our sisters adopting a little boy from China and now another sister is adopting from Ethiopia. We wanted to do more than just give once from our blessings. We created Alaska to Africa as a fundraiser to help with adoption expenses and we feel God calling us to continue working to provide for those who serve these little ones.
Alaska to Africa is our effort to create unique metal artwork to benefit orphans and those trying to care for these special children. The proceeds go to support orphanages or organizations that work with orphaned children. We have opened our fundraising to those who are adopting, but with the request that they give half to one of these organizations (something we can talk about!). We live in Alaska and want to help those from Alaska to Africa and everywhere in between, as God leads. The pieces on this site are what we offer, with some customizations.
We send 100% of net profits to those we support. We try to keep all costs low and have gotten support from our community to help us send as much as possible.
